Golf Outings

Golf Outings is provided by View Newspaper Group to give area service clubs, charitable organizations, non-profits, sports booster clubs and other civic and community organizations an opportunity to publicize their golf outings. SATURDAY, JULY 21

The 5th Annual Venture Global Engineering Foundation charity golf outing will be held July 21 at WYNDGATE COUNTRY CLUB. Registration at 7 a.m. with 9:15 a.m. shotgun start. Free hotdogs on the course with BBQ dinner, award ceremony and raffle following golf. Prizes for first, second and third place. Hole-in-one prizes, Par 3 Vegas holes, men’s and women’s longest drive and closest to the pin, best dressed team prize, putting contest, 50/50 raffle and skins. The 7th annual Bill Coller Memorial Golf Tournament for The Lapeer Center will be held July 21 at ROLLING HILLS GOLF CLUB. Registration begins at 8a.m. with a 9a.m. shotgun start. Cost of $65 per person or $260 per foursome includes 18 holes of golf with cart. This is a four-person scramble, best ball event. Contests for hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the hole. Cash awards, door prizes, food and beverages on the course and a fine dinner to follow at the Lapeer Center building. MONDAY, JULY 30

The Metamora Golf & Country Club Charity Golf Classic will be held July 30 at METAMORA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. Outing begins at 10 a.m. Cost of $100 per person includes golf, lunch and dinner. Closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one contest. Contact Rick Fleming at 248-342-1702.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 3

LUTAR will be holding a golf outing on Friday, August 3 at CASTLE CREEK GOLF COURSE. Registration and breakfast begins at8:30witha9a.m.shotgunstart.Costof $220 per team includes 18 holes of golf with cart, breakfast, hot dog at the turn and dinner. Skins, games, 50/50 and other raffles. Please register by July 27. Preregistration teams of four only. All proceeds donated to local area charities in Lapeer, Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties. The 10th annual Marlette Regional Hospital Foundation Driving for Health golf outing will be held September 6 at LAPEER COUNTRY CLUB. Fun and exciting contests and games are planned including an air cannon and inflatable dinosaur. Proceeds benefit the Marlette Regional Hospital acute care/swing bed renovation project.
