GENESEE COUNTY — According to Randy Wise, “people, attitude and fun are what truly make the automotive sales industry work. Once you have the right people with the right attitude, everything else falls into place.” With these values in mind, the Randy Wise Automotive Team maintains their dedication to excellence in service, sales and serving the surrounding community. Since welcoming a new general manager, the Randy Wise Auto Mall has reestablished these tenets within their sales and service teams.

General Manager Joe Greene, who has been in the industry for 31 years, says that his job and the job of his staff is “all about building relationships. It’s a passion for us. The greatest thing we can do is help people, and when you see that smile on their face when you’ve done that, that’s the thing that keeps us all coming back.”

The business philosophy at Randy Wise is based on family, community and caring for their employees and customers. Greene says that he prides himself on the fact that he works for Wise, a man “who does things the right way all the time. Not just part of the time, not just some days, he does things right every single time. He’s very involved in his community, and he’s taught me how important that is – not because you want glory, but because it’s the right thing to do. So that’s what we do here. That’s the reason we’re here. To help people any way we can.”

Greene likened the Randy Wise Automotive Team to a massive sports team, explaining that each month represents a new game to the teams at their eight locations. “On average, we have about 25 days to prove ourselves each month, and then we start all over again at the end of each month. It’s a fun business and we try to have as much fun as possible, but we take our roles seriously, because we all want to win.”

Greene, who previously lived in Swartz Creek for nearly two decades, says that he and his team care deeply about the people they serve. “Flint and Swartz Creek are just such great communities,” he said. “These are our communities. They’re made up of good, hard-working people. They care about the community, they’re involved, they care about schools. And those are the same values we try to adhere to at Randy Wise.”
