St. Paul, McLaren partner for Fun, Health Fair

FLINT TOWNSHIP — The community is invited to a free Family Fun and Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 16, on the grounds of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Highway.

The event will take place rain or shine. If Mother Nature does not cooperate, events will be moved indoors.

Activities begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. All events are free.

The fun will include children’s games, music, a bounce house, backpack education, balance education for adults, blood pressure checks and stroke awareness.

Youngsters may bring their favorite stuffed animals for check-ups with a family care physician, including any needed sewing repairs, at the Teddy Bear Clinic.

Visitors also may talk to a sports medicine physician about sports injury prevention.

Representatives from local dental, optometry and chiropractic offices will be on hand, and much more. – L.R.
